What is Corporate Responsibility to us?

At Kimco, we see environmental, social and governance issues as integral to our stakeholder-driven approach to business, and we have taken steps to fully align ESG with our core business strategy. We believe strongly that business is one of the most powerful engines for change in society, and we know that the commitments we make today in the areas of climate change, diversity, and community impact will make a difference now and for future generations. This way of thinking has been ingrained in our company’s strategy and culture, and we continue to build on our long history, with an eye towards the future.

ESG Goals

Kimco has announced a series of five and ten-year goals that will guide the company's environmental, social impact, and governance (ESG) strategy and build upon our industry-leading achievements in these areas to date. Sixteen goals have been established, including a Paris-aligned emissions reduction target, a commitment to $1 million in annual corporate giving, and a pledge to increase diversity in management.

Reporting

Kimco is committed to providing regular reporting on our Corporate Responsibility efforts – including both quantitative and qualitative information about impacts and initiatives. Kimco has developed a comprehensive Corporate Responsibility Report in order to reach a broad audience of stakeholders. Our comprehensive reports are aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative, the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, and the Value Reporting Foundation - Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) frameworks.
